Anvariはたぶんアンワリー（1126?〜1169?）のこと。ペルシア文学史上最も偉大な頌詩詩人といわれる。イラン東北部ホラーサーン地方の小都市に生まれ、同地の荒野ハーワラーンの名にちなんでアンワリーと号した。トゥースのマンスーリーヤ学院で、論理学、天文学、自然科学、音楽などをまなんだ。セルジューク朝の文人王であったスルタン・サンジャルに頌詩を献じた。カナ表記は「エンカルタ」とリーダーズ英和より。

【White Wolf Forums, Feb. 9】Will Hindmarchによれば、現在執筆中のOrdo Draculサプリメントに登場するあるDisciplineには、V:tMの《粛殺/Quietus》にあったものと似た能力が含まれるらしい。

これにかぎらずV:tRには、V:tMを思わせる設定がときおり現れるのだが、Willは投稿でこのようにコメントしている。

Though you'll certainly see things in this book (e.g. Obtenebration) and future books (Ordo Dracul has a Discipline power that resembles one from Quietus) that bear some resemblance to things you've seen in the previous game, please do keep an open mind as to the origins of these things. I can't speak for the writers of Bloodlines, but in some cases these sorts of similarities have arisen by coincidence and sometimes as an homage, but I'm not setting out to create “the new Ravnos” or the descendants of previous WoD dudes.

『Bloodlines: The Hidden』をはじめ今後出る本には、おそらく旧WoDに登場したものと幾分似通った設定も現れるだろうが、出所にこだわらず「V:tRではそういうもの」と受けとめてくれるようお願いしたい。『Bloodlines: The Hidden』の執筆者たちについては（僕は制作にほとんど関与しなかったので）彼らの考えを代弁するわけにはいかないが、単なる偶然でV:tMと似た設定ができてしまうこともあるし、あるいはオマージュとしてそういう設定をV:tRに入れることもある。けれども僕は「新しいラヴノス」とか旧WoDの連中の末裔とかを作ろうとしているわけじゃない。
