異形：アゾートから生じる平凡な見せかけに隠された、見るも恐ろしいプロメシアンの本来の姿。全身が傷跡と縫い目だらけだったり、粘土でできているように見えたりと、系族によって特徴がある。プロメシアンがパイロス・ポイントを消費したり、電流を吸収して負傷を治癒するとき、一時的に幻影が薄れて異形が人間の目にも見えるようになる。

姿形が実際に変わるのではなく、見る人のほうがそういう姿だと思いこんでしまうあたり、チェンジリングを思いだす。
