先日 Will Hindmarch の談話として伝えたExaltedベースの新作RPG『Scion』だが、White Wolfから正式にプレスリリースが出た。

The child of a God, filled with the potential to become beyond mortal, the Scion is their divine parent's agent in the world. A Scion battles the machinations of the newly freed Titans, those ancient beings whose place the Gods usurped so that they might live and rule without fear of being devoured by their greedy forebears.

As a divine child, you protect humanity from the terrors of the Titans and help your parent in the vast war that engulfs the real and divine worlds. Armed with divine parentage and Birthright gifts, Scions stand against the encroaching tide of the Titan's hunger. Will you rise to the heights of power through your heroism? Will you become more than just a pawn in a divine game? What great events will mark your divine ascent?

人間の及びもつかない可能性を秘めた、神々の子供たち Scion は、両親である神々の地上における代理人である。Scion の使命は地底から再び解き放たれたティタン族と戦うこと。この古き者どもは、かつて神々を呑みこんで腹の中に幽閉していたが、やがて脱出した神々に打ち負かされて王座を追い落とされたのだ。

……ティタノマキアかあ。そういや似た名前の国産ゲームがあったと思ったが、それはギガントマキア。

ゲームデザインはExaltedのJohn Chembersが担当するとのこと。文字通り「現代版Exalted」の様相を呈してまいりました。
